The Alaska Conference is actively building its ministerial team to serve the unique mission field of our state. With Alaska’s vast and diverse communities, pastors and Bible workers may serve in settings ranging from urban centers with modern amenities to small villages of fewer than 100 residents—where internet is limited and snowmobiles or four‑wheelers are the primary means of transportation.
Role of the Ministerial Director
The Ministerial Director provides vital support to pastors by:
- Representing their interests to conference administration and the executive committee
- Presenting candidates for ordination
- Assisting with the placement of pastors into district vacancies

Currently, the Alaska Conference is blessed with:
- 11 full‑time pastors
- 3 bi‑vocational/lay pastors
- 3 missionary volunteers
- 1 seminary student
Together, they are dedicated to spreading the gospel far and wide across our great state, bringing hope and faith to every corner of Alaska.
