Men’s Wilderness Retreat – Caribou Creek

Every July, men from across Alaska—and their guests—gather at our wilderness camp on Caribou Creek in the Talkeetna Mountains. Whether you arrive by ATV, airplane, mountain bike, or on foot, this retreat offers a unique blend of adventure and spiritual renewal.

What to Expect
  • Rustic Camping: Bring your tent, rain fly, food, and cooking gear. Nights can be cool and rainy—or warm and sunny—so come prepared for both.
  • Spiritual Emphasis: Over the years, we’ve welcomed inspiring Adventist speakers such as Ted Wilson, Doug Batchelor, Shawn Boonstra, John Bradshaw, Dick Duerksen, and Herb Larson.
  • Fellowship and Fun: Pan for gold (don’t forget your gold pan), sharpen riflery skills with target practice, hike scenic trails, and share your musical talents around camp.
Essentials to Bring
  • Camping gear and food for at least three days
  • Good hiking boots
  • Musical instruments (optional, but encouraged!)
  • Most importantly—your Bible for worship and fellowship in God’s majestic surroundings
