Each year in July, men across Alaska and their guests mount up on ATVs, fly airplanes, ride mountain bikes or hike on foot to our wilderness camp on Caribou Creek in the Talkeetna Mountains. This is a camping trip with spiritual emphasis. Each camper brings enough gear and food to survive for at least three days in the wilderness. Over the years, we have been blessed to have some of the best speakers within the Adventist church including Ted Wilson, Doug Bachelor, Shawn Boonstra, John Bradshaw, Dick Duerksen and Herb Larson.
The retreat is a weekend packed with fun! Pan for gold (bring a gold pan), enhance your riflery skills through target practice, wear a good pair of hiking boots to walk the trails and don't forget your musical instruments to share your talent.
Accommodations are rustic so bring your tent, a rain fly, food and cooking gear. Be prepared for cool nights and rain or warmth and sunshine-one never knows! But most of all, bring your Bible and come fellowship with other Christian men in God's majestic surroundings. Detailed information on travel and camping are provided in the sidebar along with the current registration form.
